F.A.Q.
What is Worrypad?
Worrypad is a website where people help each other feel better.
How does it work?
Very simple, share you worries, problems, or dilemmas and people will cheer you up or give you advice and recommendations through the comments.
What value do I Get?
By sharing your worries you will feel better, more relieved, and happier.
As corny as it may sound, the simple act of writing down and sharing your problems will help you feel better immediately.
Also, people will encourage you by cheering you up through their comments or literally by clicking the "Cheer Up" button next to each worry.
Worrypad is the place where you unload the weight of your worries so you can get on with your life and go after what really makes you happy!
What is reputation?
Worrypad reputation is a rough measurement of how much the Worrypad community trusts you.
To gain reputation, you should do everything you can to genuinely help people feel better.
You should write meaningful comments, give adequate advice, and cheer up people as much as you can!
Here is the breakdown of reputation points earned (or deducted) according to the action given or received:

| Comment Voted Down | -1 | -2 |
| Anything Flagged | -1 | -2 |
As you can see the easiest way of gaining reputation is be cheering as many worries as possible. However, in order to encourage you to write meaningful comments maximum points will be awarded to you when someone votes your comments up.
Can I be anonymous?
By all means! We completely understand if you want to remain anonymous. You may feel more relaxed and open to share your problems by doing so. Just remember, if you want to be anonymous, please create your account by signing up locally Here.
Why worries can be only 140 characters long?
Two simple reasons:
first: writing and sharing your worries will help you feel better but we don't want you to spend too much time worrying about what to write. Your worries should be concise and easy to digest for your readers.
Second: 140 characters is the exact length of a Tweet from Twitter, so it makes it a lot easier to retweet your worries to and from Twitter by the Worrypad engine.
If you still feel that you need to share more details about your worry simply be the first one to comment your own worry.
Each comment can be 500 characters long so you can unload your emotions to your heart's content.
